Bici Centro offers four types of youth programing:

Current Offerings

April - June (Spring) Youth Open Shop at La Cumbre Junior High (only open to La Cumbre students).

 June 8-12th, 9am to Noon Bike Adventures, Street Skills and Safety Certificate. Course meets at Santa Barbara Junior High Campus and takes a daily adventure out through our bikable city while students learn safe and effective bicycle handling and street skills.To Enroll link here to the City Recreation Programs site

June 22-26th, 9am-Noon Bike Adventures, Street Skills and Safety Certificate. July 6-10th, 9am -Noon Bike Adventures, Street Skills and Safety Certificate. July 13-17th, 9am- Noon  Summer Fun MTB camp. This is for participants in earlier weeks road skills course only. Meets at La Mesa Park and rides local front country trails. Teaches basic mountain bike handling skills.  To Enroll link here to the City Recreation Programs site

June-August Youth Open Shop to be held at Franklin School. Details to be announced. Attendees must also be participants in the City's Summer Fun program.

June-August Youth Earn-A-Bike and Youth Open Shop at multiple locations with the United Way's Fun in the Sun Program. Details to be announced. Attendees must also be Participants in the Fun in the Sun Program. For more information on the Fun in the Sun program, please click here

Ongoing Nepanocelotl (Jaguar Project) Graduates of our Youth Earn-A-Bike program are invited to join us as we develop a bicycle powered jaguar machine. This project combines mechanical engineering with important concepts in mayan mythology and culture. Join us as we start to walk on four legs!
