logoThe first National Bike To School Day is on Wednesday, May 9th.


A great day to celebrate children getting to school on their bicycles! Trade in the morning traffic for some fresh air and some quality time with your bicycle! Bike to school, walk to school, help the environment, and get some exercise! 
Each school will have its own organizational plan and  festivities. Check the school office for your school's participation plans.
Over 20 Goleta and Santa Barbara schools including: Vieja Valley, Santa Barbara Community Academy, Cold Spring, Monroe, La Cumbre JH, Isla Vista, Hope, Peabody, El Camino, SB Junior High, Goleta Valley JH, Harding, Cleveland, Hollister, Monte Vista, Washington, Montecito Union, Ellwood, Foothill, Kellogg, Mountain View, and Adams.

Organize a bike train to your school. Logistical assistance available from COAST
