    After-school on Wednesdays & Fridays from 3:35 to 5:05PM starting on Wednesday, February 15th, 2012.

    18 hours of "driver education" on your bicycle!   

    FLYER to print & distribute

    LEARN bike mechanics, bike handling skills, signage and go on fun field trips with friends. Bring your helmet and a bike in working condition on the first day of class.  Please use this form to check your bike before the beginning of the program.

    Registered participants who don't have a bike, can earn one from Bici Centro at the completion of the program. Attendance is required at all classes for all participants. 

    Important: If you don't know how to ride a bike, please call Christine: 805 699 6301.

    Non-refundable registration fee : $20   

    Space is limited. 6 participants to hold a program.

    In this clinic, you will learn all the important aspects of basic and responsible bike usage:  fixing flats, some safety considerations, basic adjustments to properly tune and fit your bike.

    No experience is necessary. Bring your bike or work on a Bici Centro bike. Be ready to get your hands dirty and have fun!

    In this clinic taught by a certified League Cycling Instructor (LCI), you will review your legal rights and responsibilities on the road. You will learn how to be visible and predictable in traffic, how to choose the best lane position and much more...
    Only $50 for the package of 3 Street Skills Clinics and a book from the League of American Bicyclists. You will have access to your free book after registering online: please read your registration confirmation email.

  • Street Skills: Clinics 3 & 4: Bike Handling Skills & Group ride

    Learning good bike handling skills is key to becoming a safer, more confident cyclist.
    On a parking lot, you will learn a number of handling skills to have a better control of your bike. You will practice hazards and crash avoidance techniques (emergency stop, quick turn and much more).

    After lunch, practice your knowledge and show a full understanding of vehicular cycling during a group ride around Santa Barbara. 

    A bike in working condition and a helmet are required.

  • Pedal Power: Driver education on your bicycle!

    After-school on Wednesdays & Thursdays from 2:35 to 4:05PM starting on Wednesday, April 11th, 2012.

    18 hours of "driver education" on your bicycle!   

    FLYER to print & distribute

    LEARN bike mechanics, bike handling skills, signage and go on fun field trips with friends. Bring your helmet and a bike in working condition on the first day of class.  Please use this form to check your bike before the beginning of the program.

    Registered participants who don't have a bike, can earn one from Bici Centro at the completion of the program. Attendance is required at all classes for all participants. 

    Important: If you don't know how to ride a bike, please call Christine: 805 699 6301.

    Non-refundable registration fee : $20   

    Minimum 6 participants to hold a program. Space is limited.
